Tips for Using the Double CHANCE Feeder
When using a single hook setup, apply the traditional method, especially in muddy areas where the feeder is less likely to sink due to its larger surface area.
In the case of using two hooks, apply different baits and place them side by side in the adjustable universal Shell filling tool, then fill the feeder. When a fish takes the bait, it will pull the chosen bait, causing the other hook to slide under the wing, make contact, and hook the fish.
The Double CHANCE feeder is designed in such a way that during the fight and landing, the second hook will slide into a protected position and won't interfere. To increase the effectiveness of your fishing, it's important to remember which bait you used on which hook. We recommend noting which bait was placed on the right and left hooks of the longitudinal ribbed feeder before loading. This special method feeder will help you identify which bait attracted the fish. If you miss the bite or lose the fish, the longer pulled leader line will indicate which bait the fish showed interest in.
In places where only a single hook is allowed, you can still use the feeder by placing different baits on the two bait spikes on either side of the central hook and placing the most effective one on your hook.
To assemble, tie the hook onto fluorocarbon or braided line, then thread about 35 cm of line through the designed openings. Set the desired leader length, then tie the hook to the other end of the line, preferably using a barbless hook. We recommend using the Cralusso plastic bait spikes, which can be easily secured on the hook using the small silicone tube included in the packaging.
Please note, when using two hooks, be extra cautious when freeing a hook to avoid the other hook from getting snagged, even though it has slid into a protected area. It is advisable to use barbless or debarbed hooks.
Good luck with your fishing!
